Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), born on July 24, 1976, in Siddipet, Telangana, is a prominent Indian politician and the Working President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Son of Telangana’s first Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao, KTR completed his B.Sc. in Microbiology from Nizam College, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the University of Pune, and an MBA from Baruch College, New York. He worked in the United States before entering politics. Elected as MLA from Sircilla in 2009, he has held key ministerial roles in IT, Municipal Administration, Industries, and Commerce, driving Telangana’s industrial growth, urban development, and IT infrastructure expansion.
