Dr. Abhay Sinha is the Director General of the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), leading efforts to promote India’s services sector globally under the “India Serves” brand. With over 26 years of experience across organizations like the Ministry of Commerce, CII, and the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council, his expertise spans international trade, global branding, trade regulations, policy, and market research. Dr. Sinha has led impactful initiatives such as the Brand India Pharma campaign and the i-Veda portal for pharmaceutical export validation. He has played a key role in trade negotiations, Joint Working Groups, and market development in regions including North America, EU, Japan, and ASEAN. His contributions also extend to projects with UNCTAD, APEDA, and the Coffee and Coir Boards. Academically, he holds a PhD in Pharma Export Strategy, an MBA in Marketing, and a master’s in international Trade, along with specialized training in regulatory affairs and international trade databases.
